  • PHEI Takes Soul in the City – Elmwood Park. Wednesday, August 20, 2025, 5:00pm-9:00pm. Join us at Soul in the City for our new Lactation Lounge with resources, hydration, and rest-celebrating breastfeeding in public and kicking off BBW with comfort and connection.
 
  • Breakfast for Champions: Saturday, August 23, 2025, 11:00am – 2:00pm. We officially kickoff BBW with a community brunch honoring leaders, donors, and advocates, featuring special recognition for Dr. Kia Grundy, our impactful Drops of Love donors, and those shaping birth and breastfeeding equity in New Jersey.

Our Lactation Lounge offers a soft place to land-complete with resources, giveaways, and goodies-for anyone starting, continuing, or deepening their breastfeeding journey.

    Kick off our new monthly pop-up with a welcoming space for Black mamas, and all birthing persons in need, who are seeking lactation support or exploring their options. Enjoy free 20-30 minute consultations, healing products, and a powerful photo at our BBW mural. No appointment needed!
